AT&T and Alltel Merger

Wasn't so much of them not giving service as is was with their attitude. AT&T said they were initiating changes to them immediately. And the security guard up there was not authorized by them. Seems the district manager took it on himself to hire security instead of 2 new representatives to help with the amount of business. Also, when we were up there, there was only 4 reps there with 8 terminals being unused. Not a good use of time or money there. They were just genuinely rude to everyone who was there. Even the ones who had been there for a long time(2 hours or longer) and made them leave, too.

I'm not condoning what they did, but I sure wouldn't want to be working up there right after the network came online. I'm sure after an 8, 10 or 12 hour day of angry customers coming in yelling at you it probably takes a toll on your mind and gets you a bit angry. Also, they should have brought a few employees from some of the Tri-Cities stores over to help during the launch. These employees would have been more experienced with the network and would have helped a lot.

The only problem I had with AT&T was they charged me with WY. taxes but one phone call took care of that and I had a bad SIM card which they repalced. I've decided to stay with AT&T.

Have some family who is having problems with people trying to call them and it says "all circuits are busy". My in-laws have this same problem and live right beside me, and i've had 0 problem. They also can't get calls out at times with the same message.

My uncle aunt and cousin all went to Verizon and for the last week they say 2 out of 5 calls they make they get the "all circuits busy", GF neice switch and she was getting same issue try to call us would fail but we could call her.

My wife, mother, and I have had problems with "fast busy" signals on AT&T when calling our mobiles from wireless or landline phones. And we have had problems with some background noise that sounds like a fan running or driving with the window down. KPT store reps said they have no idea what could be causing it. It's getting pretty annoying. Have like 11 days left to decide if we want to switch. Considering it.

I get the same thing when I call a friend from my Verizon to her ATT... it sounds all choppy and such. Also got the "all circuits busy"

My daughter had that happen to her and she said that Verizon told her that it was because of the different technologies between the two companies. My sister said that AT&T told her the same thing, especially if you have verizon and are calling someone on AT&T who has an I-phone.

This happened to me last week, but everything seems to be okay now. I wonder if it's a hit and miss thing or if it was something with the towers that they are working to fix? Surely, nationwide there isn't this problem of calling to and from AT&T and Verizon phones.

Our problems aren't hit and miss. It's been this way for us from day one.
